It's painful to watch as a loved one goes through loss.
We feel helpless, afraid to do or say the wrong thing. One thing that may not go wrong or offend is the power of presence. Just being there but silent speaks volumes.
Dear bereaved , we get offended by what people say or what they do or don't do. Guard your heart against offense because no one would intentionally hurt you. They are saying or doing what they think may comfort you. If possible guide them or confide in someone who can politely let them know that the words or actions are hurtful.
