Caleb Maina was born on October 20th 2011 and diagnosed with Shone’s Complex with tight coactation, that is tightening of the valves in the heart. As a result Caleb cries a lot, is unable to breastfeed well and has little weight gain.
We met Caleb and his parents on Saturday afternoon. The time we spent with them and Peter Mbogo the founder of the organisation was great. Despite the family's struggle they are born again and have hope that all shall be well with him. I held the boy in my arms and he is so peaceful though he really cries especially when he is unable to breath or due to discomfort.
As a family we appeal to you to give this boy and his family hope and a chance. Contributions can be sent to Peter Gachahi 0721 843918 . Remember we give not because we have too much but we give to make a positive difference
