Yesterday I was reading the post http://ethiopianbaby-waitingarms.blogspot.com/2012/01/somber-reflections.html of a lady who has been an encouragement and challenge to me . In her post she was making emphasy on spending time with our kids and how decline their pleas to play or read a story because of a task that we think is more urgent. She had a link on Baby Tripp http://randycourtneytripproth.blogspot.com/ and how courageous his mum has been for the last 2years 8months despite knowing her son's condition.
I clicked on the link and am intrigued and have so many mixed emotions, how can this be? When I mount up the courage I open the blog to read this amazing woman's journey with her son who peacefully rested on January 14th 2012. Her faith in God and determination to stick by her son's side is out of this world and when you gather the courage you can also read her/their story. May we never take the things and people especially children we have for granted. Imagine how low you feel when your child is unwell for a few days then look at Tripp's story and know others go through much worse with so much grace. Thanks waitingarms for sharing the story and opening my eyes.
