Today, Saturday the 7th, I visited Jaden's grave. I was glad that the cemetery was quiet but, most of all, well kept. I regretted not having carried some flowers because previously the entire place was neglected, and some people were grazing their cattle, which was quite offensive. As I drove in, I noticed a lady sitting on the grass; I wondered what would make one sit in a cemetery? Is it grief or is it being so used to the place that it's just another place to unwind or looking for work to clean the graves? A few meters away, I saw a small congregation; I wondered whether it was a fresh bereavement or a memorial service. Whatever it was,may the Lord comfort them. I read the inscriptions on the grave: Jaden Josef Karega, Sunrise: 13th October,2012, Sunset: 10th November,2012. We love you. 2012 and 2026 seem to be so long,I couldn't imagine it's been 14 years since I held you, my baby. No tears; I wish they would come. I was glad I passed by. I read the names and dates...
